Cosmetic Botox & Dysport
Botox and Dysport are among the most common treatments for aging prevention and rejuvenation.
These treatments are within a drug class known as neuromodulators, which temporarily weaken and nerve signals that causes the muscle to contract.
Contraction or hyperactivity of facial and neck muscles from expression and/or aging results in lines, wrinkles or troughs in the skin which get deeper and more permanent the longer they go untreated. Blocking or weakening the contraction relaxes the muscles preventing them to crease your skin.

We always administer clinically trialed doses considering the specific muscle, patient disposition and patient goals. It is clinically proven that dosing equals duration, therefore the goal and expectation is for results to last 3.5-4 months. Keep in mind, Dysport results can often last 3-6 weeks longer than Botox. You may book your re-care appointment before you leave the clinic, or we will email you a reminder when your time comes up for re-care.
Tech/Tools Used
The Basis injection technique rolls the bevel of the ultra fine needle into your skin, instead of pushing it in. This results in a more comfortable injection technique with less risk of bleeding and bruising. Most patients do not find the injections painful, however we always check in to see how YOU are doing and if you would like to ice the treatment area prior and during injections, take small breaks, or in some cases have numbing cream applied. It is not unusual for our patients to not even notice that we have started injecting!

Dermal Filler
At Basis, we use Restylane, the industry standard hyaluronic acid, as our dermal filler. This is available in various consistencies to enhance facial volume dependant on area and needs. These fillers effectively treat areas such as lips, cheeks, chin, jaw, marionette lines and nasolabial folds.
Microneedling w/PRP
Microneedling breaks down disorganized collagen, promotes healing, creates new collagen and elastin. This treatment, which uses clinically-trialed microneedling and PRP, is customized for various skin conditions.
Therapeutic Botox
Botox and Dysport are neuromodulators used therapeutically to relieve discomfort by blocking the nerve signal causing muscle contraction. These treatments alleviate tension, spasms, and medical concerns, such as headache, migraine, TMJ, jaw clenching/grinding, and chronic facial twitch.
