How it works
Warm Steam
Warm steam prepare the skin by increasing circulation, softening the stratum corneum, and creating the ideal environment for PRP infusion.
ZO® Cleansing Emulsion
Your skin is purified with a gentle medical-grade cleansing system that removes impurities without disrupting the barrier—so the treatment begins on a perfectly balanced canvas.
Numbing Cream
A medical-grade, lidocaine-based numbing cream is applied to ensure maximum comfort throughout your microneedling session.
Your Own PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma)
Freshly spun, growth-factor–rich plasma derived from your own blood works synergistically with microneedling to accelerate healing and collagen production.
Bioavailable Hyaluronic Acid
A pure, medical-grade HA serum is infused to deeply hydrate, plump, and support tissue repair.
Customized Finishing Masque
Every finishing masque is tailored to your skin’s needs—hydration, brightening, calming, or reparative—sealing in your treatment and soothing the skin.
Accelerations Included
Cryo-calming tools, and targeted serums are thoughtfully incorporated into every service to optimize results at no additional cost.
Pre-Treatment
Wait two weeks after dermal fillers, microneedling, or neuromodulator to receive this facial. Discontinue retinol 48 hours prior.
This treatment is not suitable for patients on Accutane; please wait 6 months after discontinuation of the medication.
Post-Treatment
Your skin will begin its natural healing and collagen-building process immediately after treatment. Proper aftercare is essential to support results, minimize irritation, and protect your skin barrier.
First 24 Hours
Do not touch, wash, or apply products to the treated area.
You may apply a hydrating crème or an approved topical provided by your microneedling practitioner if you need comfort or soothing.
Skin will feel warm, tight, or flushed—this is normal.
Days 1–7
For the first 5–7 days, keep your routine extremely minimal:
Gentle cleanse only (no scrubs, acids, or active cleansers).
Hydrating crème to maintain moisture and comfort.
Broad-spectrum mineral SPF daily, with reapplication as needed.
Avoid:
Retinol or retinoids
Vitamin C, acids, exfoliants, or active serums
Makeup for 24–48 hours (longer if skin feels irritated)
Heat, hot yoga, saunas, and intense workouts for 48 hours
Your skin may feel dry or begin to lightly slough. This is a normal part of the resurfacing phase.
When Skin Begins to Slough
As the skin naturally sheds:
You may very gently exfoliate with ZO Exfoliating Polish to smooth texture.
Slowly resume your normal skincare routine after one week, as long as skin feels comfortable.
Wait two full weeks before reintroducing actives such as retinol, AHA/BHA acids, or strong vitamin C.
Expected Healing
Healing varies per person and per treatment:
Redness, swelling, and peeling differ depending on your skin’s sensitivity and whether a Brightening Accelerator or 1% Retinol Booster was used during treatment.
Most redness resolves within 24–72 hours.
Frequency
More than one microneedling session may be recommended. Your RN will create a plan based on:
- Your skin condition
- Your goals
- Your response to treatment
For many patients, a series of 3–6 sessions spaced several weeks apart provides the most transformative results.
